Important keyword changes

What does this feature do?

This feature uses a keyword trending proprietary formula to show the historical trending of your most important keywords - the ones which define your site as an informational resource on the web. It gives you a clear picture of how your core keywords are performing.

Keyword weight indicates the significance of the keyword mentioned in a page. There are a lot of factors that search engines use to measure keyword weight. They take into account the presence of the keyword in the title and tags, calculate the percentage of the keyword in the text of the page, evaluate bold and italic tags, etc.

When evaluating keyword weight, we also consider two important website internal factors: the presence of the keyword in meta tags (description and keywords tags) and the presence of the keyword in the H1, H2 and H3 heading tags.

Why is this data so important to me?

This table contains our analysis of your main page. Using data about the domain's internal factors, we've tried to suggest how search engines will crawl and rank this website.

That's how we've got the list of keywords for which the main page of the site will be represented by the search engines. Then, we used keyword weight to calculate the website competitiveness for that keyword. This is of value because it is much harder to rank highly for competitive keywords, and unless you are a major site it is usually advisable to focus on less competitive long-tail keywords (keyword phrases of 2 to 4 words).

We've also used publicly available data to add keyword cost. An analysis of keyword cost is of value to you so that you can maximize your profits from adverts by focusing on the most valuable keywords.
